I have added new prints to the shop by request. These floral fine art prints focus on blues and purples. They have a painted and abstract feel. When a client requests specific pieces to hang in their office or home, it is sometimes as easy as going through my archives. Other times I need to go out and search for the content requested. This series was shot on my drive off of Kiawah Island last night, and it was just a lucky find on the side of the road. It also just happened to be sunset, so the colors were soft and rich! Kristy and Ryan are expecting their first child any day now. We recently shot their Charleston beach maternity session early one morning on Folly. Shooting at sunrise gave us the opportunity for all of this brilliant color that we would have missed shooting just an hour later in the day. I love an early session when the temperatures are still cool and crowds haven’t gathered yet. This gave us the chance to use the views up and down the beach in both directions, giving us beautiful backlit silhouettes, as well as the soft early light on their faces.
